They are truly so beautiful we can’t wait for the video and the full wedding gallery. All my friends who were in the wedding party could not stop complimenting the whole team. Brittany would provide some posing tips for all the girls that we all loved! But what was so amazing was they got so many amazing pictures but were so quick so it never took away from the experience. I didn’t want anyone, family or wedding party to miss out on any of the party due to photos and JBJ was so efficient and so amazing to work with!! On the flight home, Brian and I were talking about how we wanted to be friends with all the JBJ team. My husband and I don't take many pictures of ourselves and often shy away from the camera but Brittany made us feel so comfortable and relaxed all day. Giovana was her second shooter for our wedding and was also very sweet! Our only regret was not taking a photo with both of them before they were done for the night. s we need, and a pleasure to work with them. When we had to reschedule our wedding due to covid, we felt JB was very fair and were glad we could find a new date with him without stress. At our engagement shoot, JB did a great job of suggesting poses so the whole thing felt comfortable. He made it more fun than I expected, which is great because you spend so much of your wedding day with your photographer. The day of, JB was punctual and went with the flow when we were running way late. He still managed to capture all of the key photos on our list for before the wedding without missing a beat. And most importantly, when we got the photos back, we were in AWE! They were all so stunning. I don't know how they got so many amazing photos. JB is exceptionally talented as a photographer, and his editing style makes all of the photos so light and airy. We were beyond pleased with our wedding photos, and our family all agree. Through the stressful and crunch times as the wedding date drew closer, JB held our hands by maintaining his patient, kind and personable demeanor, always there to reassure and assist. He had a way of calming me down in my most nerve-racking moments. Even though he has an easygoing nature, don't let that fool you as far as his skills, attention to detail, follow-up and amazing sense of professionalism! I am a punctual and organized person so I was super happy when JB, Brittany and his team showed up promptly at my hotel room to begin the wedding shoot on our Big Day. In the end, the wedding turned out beautifully. Every wedding will have those "oh I wish this had happened instead..." but I thought our wedding was perfect. When we finished our vows after our small family-only ceremony, we were about to kiss and walk back down the aisle when my bridesmaid whispered to me that we forgot to exchange rings. When we realized that, we all laughed. It is one of those moments we'll remember. And, JB jumped on the opportunity and took photos of us laughing and hurrying to exchange rings. The whole JBJ team was awesome. From start to finish, my experience with JB couldn't have been more wonderful. Even now, a year later, we keep in touch. You will love JB and his team...absolutely and unequivocally!

We all look like we are in heaven in the photos, everything feels crisp and bright yet soft and ethereal, and everyone looks vibrant and healthy, not washed out as can sometimes happen in brighter photos. It's truly amazing to see the final product of their work. I have no idea how they do it. We did 4 hours of photography on the wedding day so we could afford their gorgeous work. We could have chosen a photographer we didn't like as much and spent less and I am SO GRATEFUL we didn't. The quality and artistry they produce is worth the price ten fold. We will cherish these photos always and always remember how much fun it was to be with Brittany taking them :)

We received a sneak peak of our wedding photos and they were absolutely beautiful. Above and beyond what I could have hoped for. We also used JBJPictures for videography and our photobooth and opted to use their new drone. We can't wait to see how the rest of the photos and the video turn out. I contacted JBJ as well as a few other SF photographers for quotes, and am so glad I went with JBJ. JB is so, so responsive and so friendly and so sweet through our email communications. We worked with our budget and even helped me pick out some awesome locations for our photoshoot and even gave me advice on my outfits for the day. When the day finally arrived for our shoot, we shot at Palace of Fine Arts and Pier 7. After months of email communication, we finally met JB in person. My fiance and I don't really feel comfortable in front of the camera but after just a few minutes with JB, we were having the time of our lives and having so much fun. The destination excitement was mutual between us because it was one of his wife’s dreams to visit Croatia! He offered up advice, recommended other vendors, and made sure that he got to know me on a personal level before my big day. Since we had hired JB to photograph our event for 11 hours, getting to know one another was key! By the time our wedding day approached, I already felt like I was spending the day with an old friend. My husband and I made the last minute decision to add a videographer a few days before our wedding. We had the pleasure of working with JB's wife, Brittany, who filmed our entire day. Brittany and JB work seamlessly together, and although they're "right there" capturing all the important photos, they seamlessly blend in to the background. This provided my husband with a lot of comfort, as he's not as used to being in front of the camera and smiling for hours like I am! A few days after the wedding, JB sent some sneak peeks of our big day, and I cried tears of joy and utter amazement. Jean-Baptiste was available for our engagement session, so we were stocked to have the owner of JBJ Pictures take the time to be our engagement photographer. Our lead and second photographers for the big day were amazing as well, you can really tell they were hand picked by JB based on their personality and style. Since they were trained by Jean-Baptiste and that he is the one selecting and editing every photo, we felt very confident that they would do a great job. We were thrilled with how amazing our photos turned out and loved the viewing session! It’s such a fun and personal touch. Basically we went to JB’s beautiful house on a Sunday and watched a slideshow of our wedding photos with music, while drinking some champagne and eating delicious French macarons! We had so much fun and loved being able to view all of the wedding albums options in person during the viewing session. We picked the package with one big album for us, 2 parents albums and a couple of canvases. We can’t wait to give them to our parents for Thanksgiving! From start to finish, we are so happy with everything and are grateful that JB and his team took such good care of us. The viewing session was really a nice touch to end our wedding celebration!

Our bride and groom portraits are some of my favorite images, we only had a very short amount of time before sunset but Jean-Baptiste was able to capture amazing photos of us as the sun was setting behind the vineyards. d you ask for? JB guided us through the whole timeline process (clearly something we were not experienced in) and made sure he captured all the photos we wanted on our special day. Day of, we were thankful for extra flexibility, the extra shooter, and more time! Our photos turned out great. We blew up a photo for our living room. We sent pictures with our guests in our thank you cards. We took our engagement photos at the Berkeley Botanical Gardens redwoods grove and Oakland marina. Our wedding was at Preservation Park in Oakland. If you love his photography style too, he'll been a great partner from start to finish.

o me within less than an hour after I first reached out to them. She gave me some additional information about their style and how they will create the best experience for me and my fiance. Their popular packages includes 8 hours and 10 hours, but I wanted something right in between to stay within my budget, so they customized the perfect package for us (2 weeks before the wedding once we had our timeline finalized, we actually realized we needed 10 hours and it was easy to update the invoice). To book the date, Brittany sent us a link with the quote and contract, we simply needed to accept both and send a retainer to reserve our date. That's it, we had our photographers! Then, Brittany introduced us to Jean-Baptiste (the owner) who was very friendly too, he gave us recommendations for our engagement session (locations, outfits) and helped us find a date to schedule the shoot. We had a blast during the engagement session, we were so worried we would not look natural but the photos turned out amazing and we even ordered canvases to display them at our wedding. Closer to our wedding, JB sent us an online questionnaire to help us gather all important information and we talked to our photographer over the phone to make sure we were all on the same page in regards to the timeline. On the wedding day, she arrived on time and was able to capture all of the key moments we wanted, along with some that we had no idea she had captured! Many of our friends and family told us that our photographer was awesome and super friendly. We received our wedding photos within only 6 weeks and we are SO happy with the result, they truly capture our big day and we can't wait to see our wedding album!! We loved working with JBJ Pictures, they were definitely our favorite vendors and we highly recommend them!

a wedding nightmare and having to deal with a non-responsive photographer who didn't come through for me. I'm so glad I hired JB before the wedding happened! Right from the start, JB made me feel comfortable and at ease because he was so approachable and readily communicated with me on a timely, professional, friendly basis. We even would talk about things outside of the wedding and started to get to know each other well as people too. To me, that was really special and to this day, we consider JB a good friend! We ended up doing another engagement session with JB because I figured I should do something with my make up trial. I ended up loving JB's engagement pictures even more than my original photographer's, even though we only spent an hour with him! And when it came to the wedding, JB was super organized to ask questions before the wedding and I could tell he was running around trying to capture the best shots. His second shooter was also great to work with! We got our photos in about 6 weeks and it was so nice to re-live the day with these photos! He was also gracious enough to throw in some extras and give us black and white versions of everything. I would highly recommend anyone to work with JB based on his responsiveness and true professionalism to give his clients the best. Just give him an email, and you'll see! Also, our wedding photo that he took was recently featured on The Knot's instagram!! He's really starting to make a name for himself in wedding photography and he does commercial photography for big companies like Neutrogena, Jack Daniels, etc. He has a great eye for natural light, so check him out! :)

I still absolutely love and would enlarge so many pictures if I had more wall space =P We did use some of his engagement photos on canvases at our wedding! On our wedding day, JB was every bit the professional. He arrived on time with his second shooter, Maia, and they both promptly got to work. Both were really easy to work with and they also integrated well with the videographers. Between 2 photographers and 3 videographers, you can really feel like everyone wants your attention but he was patient and urged us along the timeline when we needed to be, which I really appreciated that he was cognizant of the time. The most stressful part was probably the family photos and even though JB has a list of your family shots, I think this is really a job for a family member on each side of the family who knows everyone and can round up the rodeo. JB was still ever patient when our crazy Asian families took their dear sweet time to gather. During the dances, I could see JB running around to try to get every angle. It's no easy task being a wedding photographer! I'm not even sure when he had time to grab a bite to eat as our wedding timeline was so packed, but never once did he complain. Then the photos came about 6 weeks later when we stopped by JB's place in SF to view them and select photo album options. We had such a fun time with him, drinking champagne and snacking on macarons. He has truly become a great friend of ours and I'd recommend him to everyone I know just because he's such a fun, easygoing, kind guy to be around! It's SO important to be able to connect with your photographer. We loved our photos..it was like reliving the day all over again and I'm so glad we have these photos! I can't wait to bring them to Taiwan to show my grandmas too. I cycle my photos on my desktop at work and they constantly remind me of the best day ever :) We even got a photo featured on The Knot Instagram account!!! JB's got a great way of capturing light and candids and I'm so glad that we found JB for this special day. I know I can always count on him for quick, friendly responses and quality work! He listened to what we wanted to capture and made it happen, along with seeing opportunities to get gorgeous poses that we didn't even know that we wanted until we saw the final pictures.
